Ms. Bowjangles Tall Floor Lamp

Designed by Anna Boch and David Engelhorn in 2023, the Ms. Bowjangles familyget their characteristic bend from a steel spring sheathed in a coloured textile. The seemingly effortless rising rope dances around a metal rod and ends in a striking shade with elegant and almost futuristic aesthetics. The moving nature of the luminaire is anchored in the constantly swinging construction.

Through an optical illusion, it appears as if the shade is held in place by the wrapping of the rope alone. On the underside is an LED light that provides a soft, warm white downlight with the help of the built-in diffuser. It also features an uplight, providing plenty of light in large rooms, which makes it an ideal centrepiece.

The lamp comes up with an additional highlight: At the end of the tail end of the rope, a custom touch dimmer allows the lamp to be controlled by touch.

A smaller version is also available, perfect as a reading light. Both sizes also come as wall lamps.

Available with an olive or orange/yellow cord. Made in Germany, current production, on order.
